Bus Information
| Davidsen Home | District Home | District Calendar | EDLINE
The Transportation Department will be collecting students information up until 1 August, 2008.  Any transportation eligible student who is not enrolled into mainframe and assigned to their school by July 29th, will not be included in these mailouts.  Students must be enrolled into their school in order for them to be assigned on a school bus.

REGULAR AND CHOICE STUDENTS

After August 4, 2008, a report-card style sealed mailout will be sent, via first-class mail, to all transportation eligible students, who have congruent student data and are enrolled into a school.  The mailout will list the following data fields:

Student First and Last Name
Address of Record (according to mainframe)
School of Assignment (according to mainframe)
Bus Stop Location
Bus Stop Times

This mailout will also include bus safety tips, bus rules and universal route standards being enforced for the 2008-2009 school year.  If a parent finds that any of the information on the mailout is incorrect, such as an address or school assignment, they will be directed to the school to correct errors.  For any return mail received, attempts will be made by a Call Center Representative in the Transportation Department to contact a parent.

ESE STUDENTS

Students who are assigned specialized transportation services will be notified with one or two methods.   Either a mailout will be sent to these students or a bus driver or call center representative will contact them.
